While my recent stay had its charms, it was marred by notable cleanliness issues, underscoring the need for improved housekeeping. The property features spacious rooms, such as the Ruby Room, equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, affording a pleasant escape after a long day of exploration. The shared kitchen was not up to standard for a self-catering option. A particular highlight was the pleasant garden area, which, while needing some maintenance, could be inviting for evening relaxation. For AUD 110 per night, the value proposition is debatable, especially considering the hospitality shortcomings. If you're drawn more to historical charm than pristine conditions, this may be worth considering.
